Leeds - Live It - Love It, was a large project to promote Leeds as an up and coming international city. I worked as part of a team where each was responsible for a specific area of the build, my focus being on navigation and site structure. The site was to be filled with everything that’s going on in and around Leeds, so needed to hold vast amounts of data, all of which had to be easily accessible by users with the minimal number of clicks. I was responsible for the weather module it displays the current weather conditions as well as a five day forecast. The programme regularly gets updated with weather conditions from the weather channel website through an XML feed, which is then translated into a readable format and displayed to the user.
