Rolson Tools required a site with a large product portfolio and for the user to only gain access to view the products once registered, therefore a compulsory registration process was added with e-mail confirmation. The prices of the products were requested not to be displayed, instead the user was to be given a quote once all the items had been added to the shopping cart. The product categories and there sub categories are fully dynamic and can be added, edited, deleted or reordered by Rolson Tools at any time, they can also add, edit or delete products at any time. The catalogue is generated using ASP functions to dynamically produce the HTML to be displayed to the user according to their choices.
